Mattison R. Verdery, CPA
Mattison R. Verdery CPA graduated from Augusta State University in late 1983
and received his CPA certificate two years later. Matt started MATTISON R.
VERDERY CPA, P.C. in January 1988 and so far has enjoyed 29 years in public
accounting. He is a lifelong resident
of the CSRA and is married with two daughters.
Matt is a current member of AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPA's. He has
served either currently or in the past on various charitable Boards of
Directors, including treasurer of The United Way of the CSRA, The Gertrude
Herbert Institute of Art, Tuesday Music Live, and the Augusta State Birdie
Club.
Matt has received the Certificate of Educational Achievement from the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Tax Planning and
Advising for Closely-Held Businesses. His hobbies include golf, watching
college football, reading, fly fishing and history.

Marja Green
Marja "Margje" Green was born and raised in the Netherlands. Through a joint venture between the Dutch department of defense and the U.S. Army she worked in an administrative position in support of the U.S. Army. That's where she met and later married her husband. Together they have a son and a daughter and currently enjoy raising a granddaughter.
In 1988 the military brought them to Fort Gordon. Once settled, she started working for MWR on the base in several administrative support functions. After almost 15 years of service, she desired a change of pace and looked for employment in the civilian sector.
A connection at church brought her to the office of Mattison Verdery in July of 2006. Again filling an administrative support position, she enjoys the contact with the public and the challenges accounting sometimes can bring.
Her hobbies and interests include her family, church, and the outdoors.
